Pepperdign Homes was formed by partners Trent Maddox and Eric Wolf. We build custom to semi-custom homes in the Salt Lake and Utah County areas. We wanted to be unique to the home building industry and found a way to do it.
Over the course of our careers we have been involved in constructing nearly 700 homes, mainly for larger to mid-sized home builders. Our past experiences have been crucial in learning what it is a home buyer truly wants and desires from a home builder. What did we learn? That a buyer doesn't want to upgrade everything in the home in order for them to fall in love with it. So how did we fix this? We included all the wants, for example; granite throughout the whole house, raised panel 42 inch cabinets with 4 inch crown molding, can lights, master bath with separate shower and tub, upgraded plumbing fixtures, include today's popular hardware features, two tone paint, and tile in all bathrooms, laundry and kitchen, low E energy efficient windows, and whirlpool appliances.
Just as important is the layout of the floor plan. How often are buyers allowed to make changes to plans or even create their own? Well the answer is not that often, especially with the mid to large size builders. With just a little bit more effort on our part we have created a system for making this a dream possible for our buyers. We are aware that time is valuable but we also want to take a moment to create a plan that will meet each buyer's individual needs. Our drafter will sit down with you and make the changes to the plans if necessary, or help the buyer layout their own floor plans. Once the plans are created and made to fit the site plan you are off and running.
Lastly, the most important part of all for most buyers is value and affordability. We purposely are limiting ourselves to building around 40 homes a year. This way we are able to sustain a very low over head and also be given the best possible pricing from our suppliers and subcontractor's. We deliberately work with smaller subcontractors for two main reasons. First their over-head is much lower, so we are able to pass those savings on to our buyers, and second, the owners of these businesses are the ones providing the service which increase craftsmanship and lowers warranty issues.

We are local, so we do care about the communities we take part in creating, and our focus is long term relationships with our clients who will refer us to friends and family, and who would build with us again.
